Should of got out this morning
Should of got out goose hunting this morning. was told my normal spot had nothing yesterday so thought i would wait a little before i went out. Laying in bed this morning i hear a flight go right over the house. seems to be my luck. oh well i will get my limit before the season is over.

When I google Virginia Feral Hogs your name seems to come up alot. Was wondering if you could give some advice on what you look for, how you set up, etc. Congrats on the geese this season. That is the thing with pass shooting they always seem to fly when you don't go out. Good Luck!

One thing that helps me is that i talk to the farmers and farm hands on where they see the pig and around what time. This helps me to patteren them a little bit. I also look for where they have rooted and bedded if i can find it. if i can find these areas i set up feeders to try and keep them in the area.
Thanks for the quick response. I was not sure if hogs were animals of habit or not. I currently live in Loudoun county. However, I did go through Culpepper county last weekend to go for the archery bear season at Rapidan in Madison county. I did see one but it was not within range.
