Just an Update

Just thought I would post an update. Have not had the chance to go back out hunting since last trip but hopefully either Saturday or next week. have had another roast and some sausage from the boar and he still tastes good. For those that are interested here is how I fix it:

Boar Shoulder Roast.

in a crock pot combine:
2-3 good size onions
4 cloves of garlic
1 1/2 teaspoon of Basil, oregano, sage, time and rosemary
a dash of salt and pepper
1 large box of Swans Chicken or beef broth (personally i like the chicken one better)
1 package of Lipton onion soup mix (poured on top of roast)

lift some of the onions out of broth and place on top of roast. cover and let cook on high for 3 to 4 hours. turn the roast over once and layer onions on top again. finish cooking until meat thermometer reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

after roast is done slice and serve. you can then make a soup out of the broth by adding some rice, peas, and carrots. adding a little flour helps to thicken up the soup.

Well that is how I do it, hope you all enjoy and will let you know when I get more.
